The Practice — three bodies, one hand
The Three
Bodies of Work.
The brand's actual depth comes from where the work is made, not where it is sold. The fine art body keeps the record, unseen. The Defiance carries the wound into the world and lets it reach. Two of the three are for sale. All three are from one hand.
People feel them without seeing them. That is what people mean when they say a brand has something they can't quite name.
The First Body
Commercial
Purpose
Revenue. Reach. The public declaration of the philosophy.
Audience
Everyone.

Accessible depth. Surface clarity with layers available on demand.
The garment as philosophical object is a legitimate and serious tradition. Vivienne Westwood put political arguments on bodies. Haring's merchandise reached people who would never enter a gallery. The price tag is not the corruption of the idea. It is the mechanism through which the idea finds the bodies it needs to inhabit.
Every piece must be traceable back to one of the Three Truths. A garment that cannot trace its lineage back does not carry the Psyched Luxuries name regardless of how visually compelling it might be.
The commercial body is the proof of concept engine. Every sale is evidence deposited into the philosophical argument.
The Second Body
Fine Art
Purpose
Truth. Record. The gravitational foundation of everything else.
Audience
Eventually public on specific terms. Currently private. Future gallery and museum territory.

Maximum psychological weight. Minimum mediation between condition and mark.
The fine art body begins in the safe. The drawings made after the fight — the founding dark archive. Nobody has seen them. Nobody needs to. They exist as the original crack in the surface that opened the channel everything else has flowed through since.
The safe is not a storage unit. It is a sacred archive.
The fine art body includes everything in the archive made from psychological necessity rather than commercial potential. These pieces are uncomfortable to spend time with. Not because they are poorly made — because they are too precisely made.
The fine art body will eventually become public on specific terms, through specific channels. The timing belongs entirely to the artist, not to market demand or curatorial interest. It surfaces when the work is ready to be seen, not when the world is ready to see it.
The Third Body
The Defiance
Purpose
Resistance through making. Satire — the grin back at the grind, carried into the world.
Audience
The people carrying the same weight. They recognize the defiance in the work because they need it themselves.

Raw. Grinning. The mark of the break visible inside the repair — and laughing at it.
The Defiance is the body made under pressure — the work that did not wait for the conditions to be good. It came out of the years the practice ran on whatever was left at the end of a shift. The hand moved because the moving was the restoration. The piece is the healing made into an object you can hold.
The satire is the healing. The mockery is the medicine. Because the defiance is real, it reaches — people recognize their own state in the work, not because the wound is named, but because the grin is visible. That recognition is the congregation.
The wound is not hidden in the repair. It is the repair. The gold runs exactly where the break was — and it grins.
The Seeds come from here — and you can finish them. A Seed arrives whole; you cut it to the shape you choose, and the piece is completed by your hand. The work that healed by being made heals again by being held. This body sells: a piece finding the one person carrying the same weight, and that person choosing to own it, is the doctrine working — revenue as evidence of belonging, never a pitch.
The Relationship Between the Three
Fine Art
— the root system
Underground, mostly invisible, source of nutrients for everything above ground.
The Defiance
— the seam
Where the break was rejoined and made visible in gold. Keeps the practice honest to the conditions that made it — and reaches the people who recognize the break in themselves.
Commercial
— the fruit
Visible, accessible, the proof of concept engine.
Remove any one and the practice loses something irreplaceable.
All three from one hand. All three from one practice. All three from one life.
The commercial body declares the philosophy. The fine art body documents the truth. The Defiance carries the healing to the people who need it — and lets them own it.
